This blog is the result of a deteriorating structure within the Liverpool Central School District in Liverpool, NY. Our lives are all hectic and no one really has the time to keep track of everything that is going on locally, pay the bills, take care of our kids, and maintain a decent family life. It sometimes feels that the bureaucracy and hoops that we are all forced to jump through in our daily lives are there just to keep us from seeing what is quietly being done to us by those in positions of power.
Hopefully this blog will help to keep you abreast of what is happening in our school district, with our money and to our kids by those charged with representing us at the District level.
Someone will always attend the LCSD Board of Education meeting and provide readers with the highlights from the parent/taxpayers perspective and when issues arise that require a more detailed look, this is the place to come.
Issues will be looked at in depth and public information will be accessed from the District to provide a clear picture of what the District is doing, why and for what purpose. We represent a diverse political and socio-economic slice of the LCSD Taxpayers. We are of all different races, religions and beliefs. We have a common desire to see the District to represent the will of the people, as stated in the Board of Education By-Laws, and not become the personal laboratory for the administrators educational experiments.
We look forward to having you on board with us and hope that you find the information and insight of value.

I wanted to say how impressed I was with tonights showing. My name is Matt Jones, I was the young guy at the meeting in the suit and green shirt who spoke at tonight’s meeting. I think that all the work LIVES is doing is fantastic and you all deserve praise for your efforts. Unfortunately we lost WRE tonight, that does not mean you folks should give up. The unfortunate fact is that there is still a lack of leadership at the district office and we must act in order to prevent more unfortunate changes to our district.
As some of you know I ran for BOE the last two years. I can not tell you home important it is for there to be a number of candidates running for the school board in this year’s election. The election process begins at the end of this month. If anyone is interested in running and would like more information of help running, please contact me.
My e-mail is MJones4Clay@gmail.com I am not a parent but I care about my district. I would like to help carry out the agenda of this community organization. Please let me know if there is room in LIVES for another LCSD resident who gives a damn.
All the best,
Matt Jones
